Beginner’s Piano Teacher

Hi, I’m Katie, a beginner’s piano teacher with a passion for music in all its forms! I’m a Welsh flautist, having studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music. Now based in London, I work as a freelance orchestral musician and music facilitator.

I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with wonderful musicians, including my duo partner, Jack Redman, and recently made my Wigmore Hall debut. I’ve also performed with esteemed ensembles such as the National Symphony Orchestra, London Chamber Orchestra and am an academist at the Academia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Orchestra in Rome.

When I’m not performing, I love bringing music to early years settings, working with people living with dementia, and supporting communities through workshops with the Wigmore Hall Learning team and the City of London Sinfonia.

Whether I’m playing the flute or teaching piano, my goal is always to help others discover the joy of music. Looking forward to making music together!
